Why I Want a Cyberya Minigosyo

Henry Sy of SM group, John Gokongwei, Jr. of JG Summit Holdings, Inc., and Manuel Villar, of Vista Land--these are some of the famous names in the business industry today. Not born with a silver spoon in their mouth, these successful individuals started setting up a small business with a big heart and humble attitude. Because of their persistent hard-work, their mini-investments had great returns, proving a real rags-to-richest story of life.

Just like them, I also had dreamed of becoming a rich person someday; until I realized the blood and sweat it would require to achieve such goal. Despite this, I still persuaded and grabbed every single opportunity that might help more than my family's basic needs. For instance, after finishing high school, I worked as a sim card peddler, as a 'carinderia' helper, fashion shop assistant and a student assistant in a private school. I spent most of my teenage life working here and there but nothing had changed. My parents, on the other hand, also tried to work for a living. They used to work as a used-container and repaired appliance vendor at a public market in the city but still got no improvement in our family's financial status, even until my father died due to multiple organ failure in 2012.

Prior to the promo launching of PLDT KaAsenso, I had thought about other probable things and jobs I could do and work to attain my seemingly impossible dream; until one day, PLDT opened an opportunity for the aspiring bloggers to win a Cyberya Minigosyo package. I immediately conceptualized and finally created an impressive output.

Apart from the fact that my neighborhood would benefit from it, I personally want a Cyberya Minigosyo because similar with what the successful businessmen used to have, this mini-investment would help me and my family to grow in many aspects.

Now, I think, is the chance for my family to cope after the few ups and many downs that we have gone through. I know that PLDT does not only connect people around the world but most importantly, it also links opportunities to deserving people including me.

Although the offer is called a Minigosyo, I still know the great return it would give my family. I may not be as successful as the top 50 richest people in the Philippines, but I would try to be a person with rich experience that would make me a prosperous person someday.:)
