THE CHOICE OF THE RIGHT STEP

I walk along a crowded street near our school. Suddenly, I notice a lady who falls down out of her steps in front of me. I feel pity for the fallen girl whom a lot of people are staring at in this instance. I draw beside her and help her stand back. I softly tap her back and ask whether or not she is fine. Then, the lady affirms that she is fine and thanks me for the concern. We continue walking together as if nothing happens.
This is truly a life-relating anecdote. Why? Because it portrays one of the many possibilities in life—failing. We, as imperfect creations sometimes fail our own quests. It is sometimes our fate to fail and fate is the outcome of our unwise decisions. There are moments when we start walking confidently through our paths, but as we take our steps, chances of falling down meet our way. Same thing to life, moments come that God gives us the opportunity to live in harmony yet what we think harmonious does not remain forever. For us to learn the relevant lessons in life, we also need to experience the essence of failing or lacking something. Through this, we will remember how it will feel having nothing aside from anything or failing aside from winning.
Most probably, we always hear the line that says, “Nobody is perfect”. This means that everybody bears imperfections. No one can really afford an impeccable living because failing has become part of people’s living.
However, failure contributes a positive effect or advantage to a person. I can say that failure contributes learning for the person concerned. Every time we fail, most likely, at the same time, we learn our lessons. As we learn, our knowledge about proper decision making will be developed and as we stand back and continue our journey, we will become more aware of taking the best and safest step but still mindful of the possibilities for deterioration. :)
